We want every player to be able to use Vitare, whatever they use to browse the web or play.
What we are aiming for
We are working towards WCAG 2.2 level AA across the game itself, vitaregame.com and your Vitare account pages: signing in, registering, resetting a password, and managing your account and membership.
What we have done
- Every password field can be revealed, so you never have to type a long password without being able to review it.
- Password rules stay on screen instead of vanishing as soon as you start typing.
- Errors are announced to screen readers and are attached to the field that needs fixing.
- Text, buttons and input borders meet the contrast levels in the standard.
- Keyboard focus is always clearly visible and a "skip to main content" link comes first on every page.
- Pages have proper headings and landmarks, and work at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Moving content, such as the featured lots on the sign in page, can be paused.
- Dialogs can be closed with the Escape key and keep keyboard focus inside them while open.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animations settle down.
