One of our favourite features in Vitare is the ability to actually earn V$ (Vitare Dollars) by doing things your character is good at and rewards you for working together and keeping your skills high.
What Are Money Objects?
Money Objects are interactive furniture items that your character can work at to produce sellable goods. You sit down, you get to work, and when the job’s done, you collect your V$.
The better your skills, the more you earn – and the more players working alongside you, the higher the payout bonus.
How It Works
When you interact with a Money Object, your character gets to work. You’ll see a progress bar filling up above their head. Once it hits 100%, the item is ready to sell – and that’s when the V$ hits your wallet.
But what you earn isn’t a flat rate. It’s calculated from a combination of factors:
- Your Skill Level – every money object is tied to one of Vitare’s skills – such as Cooking, Engineering, or Charisma. The higher your skill level in that area, the bigger your payout. A level 1 earns a fraction of what a level 20 brings in. Skill up, earn more – it’s that simple.
- Who’s in the Room – Vitare is a social world, and working alongside other players pays off. The more people in the lot who are actively skilling alongside you, the more your final payout is worth. Pack a room with like-minded workers and everyone benefits.
- Your Lot Category – setting your lot category to Money gives you a passive multiplier on top of everything else.
- Daily Boosts – each day, one skill type gets a boost multiplier. Check in regularly and plan your sessions around the daily boost to maximise what you take home.
The Money Objects
Here’s a look at the three Money Objects available at launch:
Cooking Station – Fire up the Cooking Station to prepare meals for the neighbourhood. The quality of what comes out depends entirely on your Cooking skill.
Workbench – The Workbench is where engineering minds get to work. Tinker away with your Engineering skill determining the value of whatever you produce.
Telephone — Not every earner needs to get their hands dirty. The Telesales phone lets charismatic players work the phones and close deals. Your Charisma skill drives your earning potential here.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Money Objects
- Level and maintain your skills first – the difference in payout between level 1 and level 10 is significant. Spend time on skill objects before committing to a Money Object grind.
- Watch the daily boost – log in each day and check which skill is boosted. Timing your sessions around it adds up over a week.
- Build a community – a full room of active players can dramatically increase both speed and payout. Open your doors, invite people in, and make it a social event.
- Open a Money lot – if you’re running a Money Object focused lot, set your category to Money and keep it there. That passive multiplier benefits other users, and you get a slice of the cash every time they sell! Kaching!

Money Objects are just the beginning of how you’ll be able to earn V$ in Vitare. We have more earn mechanics in the pipeline – but for now, fire up that Cooking Station, pick up the phone, or get tinkering. Your V$ won’t earn itself.
