Beta players, we have a new game update for you today with some more fixes and new functionality.
- Object decay & repairs has arrived! Many objects will now gradually wear as they are used. The higher the object wear, the more likely it could break. Objects can be repaired using the Engineering skill or paying. This is only available on specific objects and you’ll see an object health bar when you pick up the object in Shop Mode.
- Only allow visitors to your lot if you’re online – we heard you – in the Lot Management Panel you can now toggle on this feature so players can’t join your lot if you’re not there. Likewise, if you leave, the lot will go offline.
- Lock your lot – Own a lot and want to stop people visiting? You can also toggle on the locking feature to prevent others from joining. Useful if your lot is under construction!
- Bath tubs are now usable! Increase your hygiene with a long soak in the tub.
- Workbench money object has a new animation
- Fix: Characters should float less when reading on chairs (i.e. when skilling)
- Fix: Props such as books should now render correctly and not be at random rotations for some players
- Fix: The chat caret in the room chat no longer moves the text unexpectedly
- Fix: Sounds & states of objects in use should now show when you join a lot
- Fix: Dragging the Plot Info Panel on the World Map now works correctly
