A new update is available to our Closed Beta players with various fixes.
We have also launched our new Achievements system which we hope you’ll enjoy.
New: Achievements
Achievements allow you to celebrate your progress as you play Vitare for all sorts of occasions – from skilling, to exploring, making money and more. Achievements show your record of progress and offer rewards! You can view them in your Vitare Account or in the Options menu. An update is coming soon to overhaul player profiles which will include achievements and skills.
Motives Tweaks
- Motives decay slower across all categories
- Hygiene motive now decays slower
- Energy motive mood impact reduced
- Motives now decline slower on skills lots (1.5x -> 1.2x)
- Motives now increase faster on services lots (1.5x)
- Fix: Platinum motives now working on Services lots
General Fixes
- Money objects are even quicker (5-8 mins randomised vs 6-10mins previously)
- Money objects base pay increased slightly
- Money objects now work on non-money lots (note: payouts are always higher on money lots)
- Invert camera drag setting in settings
- Adjust camera pan speed in settings
- Daily visitor bonus increased with extra bonus if you are actively hosting
- Fridge objects now allow multiple people to use them (e.g. if someone is eating)
- If someone is repairing an object and something ends the action, the broken object will now allow someone else to repair it.
- Trade system no longer locks your camera until a trade is accepted
- Game-crashing bug resolved which occurred when some objects were not in a lot (e.g. an oven when you want to cook a meal).
- Cooking with Tomato crops now gives a much larger hunger motive increase
- Pizza now delivers double the motive increase than it did!
- Furniture will be prioritised when you click preventing accidental clicks on other players
- Bush is now selectable
- Improvements to connecting/disconnecting players to ensure they’re always visible to all players in lots
- Object price on placement now shows correct price
